What should I learn to develop a computer program?
Friday, June 27th, 2008bigjay2578 asked:
I have an idea for a computer program that I would like to develop myself. What should I learn (Visual Basic, C++, etc.)? And what order should I learn them in? Please don’t say go to school. My schedule doesn’t really permit that right now and I am extremely confident I can learn this on my own. Thank you so much for your help.

What sort of programming do you think most computer-ran type & go cash registers use?

I was just curious. I kind of wanted to work on a program that might help advance our computers. It looks similar to MS DOS, and you have to manually type commands in rather than use a mouse or touch screen. So if someone owed $2 and gave me $5, I would type CASH 5, and it would tell me I owe $3 to the customer.

Are there any online computer programs where you can upload pictures of yourself and change them?

Two part question about computer programming?
Monday, June 9th, 2008pesa123dilla asked:
From what I see, everybody is into computer programming. My first question is this… Will it be worthwhile to go to school to become a computer programmer? When I graduate, will I have a guaranteed job? (I know there are no guarantees, but I mean the same kind of guarantee a schoolteacher would have. Teachers pretty much have guaranteed jobs). Or are computer programmers a dime a dozen and I will have to claw my way into a job?

Second question is this. What development environment do professional companies use to program top of the line games using C++? (i.e. Microsoft Visual C++)
And hey, when I graduate… Can any of you offer me a job – preferably in the southwest (from California to Texas)? O.K. so it is a three part question!
