What’s the best computer program to use for writing music?

I’ve been wanting to start writing industrial rock music. I listen to Nine Inch Nails a lot, and want to start creating some nice instrumentals. I have so many beats in my head, but a lack of knowledge of how to get my beats onto a real song. The only tool I have is the computer. Is there any tips you can give me about how I should go about writing industrial music? I would also like to know of a good program that can help me do so.

Should I learn Computer Programming when I’m at college or learn on own?

Okay, I’m only a sophomore in high school and I know a little about C++ programming but some online tutorials don’t give the full meaning of programming so I was wondering, should I wait in till college or learn on my own? And if I learn on my own, what’s a great way to learn programming?

I want to learn as many languages as possible before and when I get to college.

Anyone seen a video of a stickman computer program trying to stand?

About a year ago I saw a video of a computer program that someone had written them selves. It was a stickman in a white room and he was programed for a written response to stand. Every time he would fall over frontwards or backwards; but, finally in the end he gets the response he was programmed for. I need a video of this or something simular to show to a class that has no idea of anything that is involved with computer programming. Thanx.
